Ben Hirschfield is a New York based theatrical scenic and projection designer who is a graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He works as an associate designer at Tate Design Group, founded by scenic and projection designer Paul Tate dePoo III. There, he has contributed to national tours, world premieres, and regional productions.

Ben also works as a freelance designer, with recent credits at Meadow Brook Theatre, Barter Theatre, and City Springs Theatre.

In 2025, Ben was selected for the USITT Emerging Creatives Showcase, recognized as one of only two scenic designers in the country chosen for this honor.
